Dinner: Healing Prayer

Although I have not verified it, many have stated that over one-fifth of the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) is about the healing ministry of Jesus. Christ taught his disciples how to pray and how to heal people. He sent them out to carry on His work.

With this knowledge, I believe that Jesus wants us to pray for healing, even today.

Luke 18:7-8

And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

Are we crying out to God day and night? When Jesus returns, will He find faith on earth? Will He find faith among us?

We need to Plead the Promises of God. I highly encourage you...no I implore you to read this article by Armin Gesswin at HealingScripture.com. Whether you doubt that God will heal Adam, or believe that it is already a "done deal," take some time to read it and the scriptures the author refers to.

Offer prayers of praise to God that Adam's surgery went well on Monday. Praise God that Adam did well in therapy, yesterday.

We'll unite one more time, this evening.
