Morning After: Comfort and Faith

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

Good morning, and thanks for praying with us, yesterday. Just a reminder, that it is OK to keep on praying Thursday through Tuesday! We unite in prayer and Wednedays as a way to raise our collective voices to God. As I have written previously, a scheduled day of prayer....leads to more prayer! I pray for Adam every day, but more so on Wednesdays. You help hold me accountable!

Uniting in fasting and prayer on Wednesdays also allows us to encourage each other, and to comfort each other. We are joining together in a shared faith in Jesus Christ.

I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
    Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
    I’ve seen miracles just happen
    Silent prayers get answered
    Broken hearts become brand new
    That’s what faith can do
That's What Faith Can Do, Kutless

Ask God to keep increasing our faith, and to provide comfort to those who are hurting.

Keep praying for healing for Adam, Pat, and Brandon.

See you, next week.
