Eve of Fasting: A City On Our Knees

I have to believe that Adam's family has often felt like they have been in a fog for nearly six months. It is likely that the events of the past week have only thickened the fog. Mercifully, there is hope in the distance.

"Through the fog
there is hope in the distance...

...We can sail across the sea
to a city with one king.

Family, we're family
You and me...

If we gotta start somewhere
Why not here?

...If we gotta start sometime
why not now?

~City On Our Knees, tobyMac

Why not now? Tonight is the time to commit to praying for Adam, tomorrow. I hope that you'll join us. Together we can be a city our knees. Sinner or saint, "religious" or not, church attender or church avoider, we can come together to unite in prayer — for Adam, his family, and each other.

Tonight, pray that many would join our united day of fasting and prayer, tomorrow. We want God to hear a choir of voices that is lifting Adam up to Him for healing.

Acts 20:36

When Paul had finished speaking, he knelt down with all of them and prayed.

  2. I appreciate that you continue to share. I know that your family deeply feels your Faith, your belief in keeping positive and continuing to try tirelessly, and most strongly your leadership. While it's obvious that one would support this, when you're the one that is too tired to stay focused, or to emotionally exhausted to fight, it is someone like you that acts quietly but persistently and keeps you believing. Sometimes hope is everything.

Keep being you. We all need you. And I know your family has a great respect and admiration for embracing them and holding them together. Especially during such a difficult time as Adam's situation presents.

    I say....you a-ight.
