Eve of Fasting: Full Recovery in Process

Beginning with our very first united day of prayer and fasting, we have been praying for Adam's full recovery. Nothing has changed.

I believe it is safe to say that Adam's healing has not happened as quickly as we would like. But it is progressing according to God's schedule, not ours. Last week, I wrote (Got Hope?) that I was very encouraged and excited about Adam's move to Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. It appears that positive developments are already happening (see Thank You for Your Prayers on Amy's blog).

Have you grown weary? Has your hope waivered? Yes, it has been five long months, but today is where the healing begins.

Matthew 9:27-30
(Jesus Heals the Blind and Mute)

27As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, "Have mercy on us, Son of David!"

28When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?"
     "Yes, Lord," they replied.

29Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith will it be done to you"; 30and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, "See that no one knows about this."

I believe that Jesus is able to heal Adam. I know that you do to. That's why you pray with us.

See you in the morning for a day of prayer and fasting.
